What employees need to do

Congratulations! Your employer has signed up to Your Island Pension (YIP).

You will receive a Welcome Email from YIP asking you to register on the Member Self-Service (MSS) Portal. This will give you 24/7 online access to your Member Account. Your employer will not have access to this account - it is secure and only you have access.

  • It’s easy to do, but if you need help, check out our Knowledge Hub for a Service Guide
  • Check and update your personal information.
  • Update your beneficiary details. Hopefully, we won’t need to use this information for a long time, but when you die, the value of your Member Account will go to the people/organisations you list here. It’s important to keep these up-to-date. If you need more information, check out our Knowledge Hub
  • You are automatically invested in the MyFuture Lifestyle Strategy option. This strategy was created by Ravenscroft and is the standard investment option for YIP. It will automatically adjust your investments from attempting to generate as high a return as possible during your accumulation years, to lower the risk as you near your retirement. Additional contributions
