Setting Up With YIP
To avoid unnecessary stress, you should allow three-months to get everything ready.
Please see our checklist and helpful guides for more detailed information. Here’s what you need to do:
If you are not working with a payroll provider who has integrated with YIP
- Complete the application form
- Collate all the company documents that we have requested. If the documents need to be certified, you can either pop into our office with the originals and we can do it for you or you can get it done externally. It is also possible for us to certify your documents via video call. See our certification guide for more information.
- Inform your employees and direct them to the YIP.GG website to find out more.
- Find out if any of your employees wish to opt out.
- We will provide you with:
- Access to the Employer Self-Service Portal (ESS)
- An HR template. You will need to complete this for all the new joiners
- A Contribution (CDL) template for every month or agreed frequency. You will need to do a “save as” and add any new joiners, remove any leavers and change any contribution amounts if they’ve changed. Then simply upload and send us the matching cash.
- We will issue your employees with access to the Member Self-Service (MSS) Portal so that they can get online.

- Access to the Employer Self-Service Portal (ESS) so that you can view information and obtain reports
- We will issue your employees with access to the Member Self-Service (MSS) Portal so that they can get online.
